The images we see on digital screens are composed of signals—streams of information translated into visible form.

Under normal conditions, these signals remain largely invisible to us. We see the image, but rarely consider the system that makes the image possible.

When interference, transmission errors, or network disruptions occur, that system becomes visible. The image loses its expected form, producing fragments, distortions, and unexpected visual structures.

In Signals, I work with these moments of disruption as material. Rather than treating them simply as errors, I reorganize them into images that exist somewhere between information and abstraction, control and accident.

The series asks what happens when an image no longer delivers the reality it was expected to represent.

When a signal breaks down, does the image disappear—or does another reality begin to emerge?
